W&J Summer Program Website Research
As a student worker at my college, Washington & Jefferson, I was tasked with researching ways of increasing the usability and organization of the W&J Summer Program website. To do this, I gathered information on web UX and UI, and found examples of good design from both competing and non-competing schools. Once I had completed my research, I compiled it into a PDF to instruct the Dean on ways he could modify the Summer site to be more effective.
Few changes took place initially, as the Dean was tied to the W&J website's structure. However, when a new overall site was introduced in 2014 many of the changes I recommended were implemented, such as integration with the college site and organization of useful information.
